Claude Code Quickstart

Deploy serverless functions from Claude Code's bash tool. Add the API to CLAUDE.md and Claude handles the rest.

Step 1. Get your API key

Save the key to your project .env file:

Step 2. Add to CLAUDE.md

Add this block to your project's CLAUDE.md file. Claude Code reads this automatically at session start.

Step 3. Create a function

Create a Node.js hello-world function.

Save the returned id (e.g., taufn-a1b2c3d4-...) for the next steps.

Step 4. Deploy the function

The function status changes from created to deployed. You can now invoke it.

Step 5. Invoke with a JSON payload

Step 6. View stats and logs

Step 7. Try Python runtime (coming soon)

Python 3.11/3.12 is rolling out — creates succeed today but invokes return 501 until the runtime goes live. The flow will be identical:
